This is the completely re-worked
version of the painting I previously posted.
It wasn't 'me' before, now it is.
A collage of clay, paint, and organic
materials, including dried moss.
I'm getting better with my new camera,
the colors are only slightly off, the blue
isn't actually quite this bright.
See you in a few days,,,heading back to the lake tomorrow, building railings on the deck.

I want to go exploring in a wee boat in your picture Babs- it's so lovely and inviting! Beautiful blues and browns :o)
I agree, this landscape is you, it has your touch. I like it so much!
Enjoy your visit to your lake cottage and the fun of building, working with the frsh scent of wood! Hard work but fun!
ooooo, I really really like the 'you' painting - it's alive!
Boy, you do know how to have fun; building railings on a deck! Aren't you supposed to be retired?
This painting is beautiful and I can't believe it is the same painting as the one before! You really can re-work a whole painting in oils, can't you? I've never tried working in oils or acrylics. Everything I've done is permanent; you either like it or you don't. I like this one.
Babs, you know what I think, this is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, pure magic!!
Love the pic... Extraordinary.. like blue color.. waht a great job done babs...amazing
Yes, it has become "you".
I hope you don't get de-railed on vaca. (chuckle)
What could I tell you? I say only "wow", I love it!!!
Have a great time! Wurzerl

I will be going back to the lake on Monday,,big weekend coming up with our Firecracker Jack!
If I don't get around to visiting your blog before we leave, just know that I am wishing you a Happy and Safe Independence day, and I'll catch up with all of you on the flip side.
I like the rework..I think you put more of your self into this.
Babs, this has a stark light that makes the landscape appear mythological. Like the land in a fairy tale.
Wow! This looks really beautiful and the material you used for the landforms seem embossed and realistic.
